This is an amazing sapphire diamond platinum ring from the Art Deco era. The ring is centered with a magnificent oval cut sapphire that weighs approximately 10.86 carats. Accordingly, characteristics of this vivid blue center stone shows to be the same as those sapphire from Sri Lanka or Ceylon. The sapphire is accentuated by sparkling old mine cut diamonds that weigh approximately 0.40ct. The color of the diamonds is from G with VS clarity. The top of the ring measures 16.5mm by 12.5mm by 7mm. The ring features beautiful milgrain, open work and gallery design. The ring is size 5 1/4, but can be resized. The ring is stamped PLATINUM.
